New Report: Lessons for Philanthropy from 2020 Census and Redistricting in Pennsylvania
FRR is excited to share a new case study showing how advocates in Pennsylvania used an integrated census and redistricting strategy to significantly improve community representation in both the state’s census count and its maps.
Commissioned by the William Penn Foundation and The Heinz Endowments, in partnership with the Census Funders Collaborative (formerly Census Equity Initiative) and Fair Representation in Redistricting, the report offers philanthropy key takeaways from Pennsylvania that can be replicated elsewhere–including insights about the important role that funders can play as catalysts.
